Project Overview
Most fleets still run on phone calls and guesswork. Dispatch rings the driver to ask how far away they are. A warning light gets mentioned days later, if at all. Nobody knows which vehicle is being driven hard until the repair bill or the infringement notice arrives.
CarWatch replaces the guesswork with data straight from the vehicle. A 4G tracker plugs into the OBD-II diagnostic port — no wiring, no workshop visit — and streams GPS position, speed, engine readings and fault codes to our servers. The vehicle appears on a live map with its trips, driving score, engine vitals and alerts, on a desktop or a phone.
Then the AI layer goes to work. When a fault appears, CarWatch researches it for that exact make, model and year and returns a plain-English verdict: the likely causes ranked by probability, how a mechanic confirms each one, the parts and services likely to be needed, and an estimated cost range — before anyone opens the bonnet.
It is built for the vehicles fleets actually run: utes, vans, light trucks and cars that never came with a connected app of their own.
